Our History

1992 – The Beginning
Logisnext Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. was originally formed in 1992 as Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift Asia (MCFS) Pte. Ltd., a joint venture combining the technological, marketing, and financial strengths of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. (MHI) and Caterpillar Industrial Inc. From the start, our focus has been on providing superior material handling equipment and services, aiming to become a regional leader in both counterbalanced and warehouse solutions.

2013 – Merger in Japan
Following the merger of MHI’s Forklift Truck Division with Nippon Yusoki Co., Ltd. in Japan, Mitsubishi Nichiyu Forklift Co., Ltd. (MN) was formed.

2015 – Becoming a Wholly-Owned Subsidiary
By 2015, MCFS became a wholly-owned subsidiary of MN and was renamed Mitsubishi Nichiyu Forklift Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (MNA).

2016 – Amalgamation
In 2016, MNA merged with Nichiyu Asia Pte. Ltd. (NAS), forming a single regional entity to strengthen operations and better serve customers across Asia Pacific.

2017 – Formation of Logisnext
In October 2017, Mitsubishi Nichiyu Forklift Co., Ltd. (MN) integrated its business with UniCarriers Corporation (UC), creating Mitsubishi Logisnext Co., Ltd. (“Logisnext”). The name Logisnext—short for Logistical Equipment & System Solutions Next—reflects our aspiration to go beyond traditional frameworks and contribute to the future of global logistics. Following this, MNA adopted the new name Mitsubishi Logisnext Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (MLAP).

2026 – Rebranding to LNAP and Global Expansion
In April 2026, the company rebranded to Logisnext Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (LNAP) as part of our global expansion. Logisnext now operates in over 100 countries, with 5 manufacturing sites in Japan and 7 overseas locations across 5 countries.
